Texana Lodge as it stands today would not be as well preserved as it is without the vision of Mr.  & Mrs. French Lawson.  Purchasing the home in 1975, they spent ten years carefully repairing damage caused by time and vandalism, consulting with historical experts throughout the entire process.  We will continue to uphold all work done on the lodge to historical standards, preserving the legacy of Texana Lodge for future generations to enjoy.
