While Texana has been in the hands of many families, to date the Bremer family has the longest history, with the home and land being under their control for 56 years.  Their tenure here began when Heinrich Bremer, a German immigrant from Hanover, purchased the land and home in 1905.  It remained in Bremer hands until 1961.  

In September, a back house will come online and be available for rent, offering 2 suites in a rustic setting.
